Editor’s letter

Fashion lives in the details. Your workflow shouldn’t get lost in them.

Most garments are still developed across spreadsheets, PDFs, chat messages and notebooks. Every hand-off retypes the same measurement, the same fabric, the same price — and every retype is a chance to lose time and margin.

TramaMax keeps one thread from the first idea to the confirmed order. The tech pack feeds the pattern, the pattern feeds the cutting plan, the cutting plan feeds the cost, and the cost becomes your quote. Change one, and everything that depends on it follows.

In this issue

Everything a garment needs, in the order it happens.

Tech pack

The tech pack that keeps itself up to date.

Identity, images, sizes, measurements, materials, labor, construction and care — every section of a professional tech pack, with a version for every change. Fabric consumption comes straight from the pattern, so what you specify is what you cut.

  • Measurement chart per size, with tolerances
  • Fabrics, trims and color variants from your directory
  • Construction steps and care symbols
  • Versions that lock when an order is confirmed
  • A clean PDF for your factory or client

Pattern making

Draft the pattern on the mannequin, not in the void.

A real CAD editor for fashion. Pieces sit on the mannequin of your size table — front, back or side — at 1:1 in centimeters. Snap to landmarks, type exact lengths and angles, cut on the fold, add seam allowances and seams, and grade every size from the mannequin.

  • Mannequin tables with your own measurements
  • Grading from the mannequin, size by size
  • Cut on the fold, mirrored pairs and grain lines
  • Seam allowances and seams between pieces
  • A marketplace of ready patterns (Plus and Pro)

Cutting plan

Know how much fabric you need before the first cut.

Every order gets its own cutting plan. TramaMax groups the pieces by fabric and color, nests them on the real fabric width and tells you the lay length, the consumption per garment and anything that is still missing.

  • Markers by fabric and color, calculated for you
  • Fabric consumption per size, from the pattern
  • Open-width and tubular fabrics
  • Missing inputs listed — never a wrong total

Cost & price

A price that pays for the work.

Fabric from the cutting plan, trims, labor and services, overhead and development costs: TramaMax builds the unit cost of every garment and turns it into a price with your taxes, card fees, commission, marketing and profit margin.

  • Unit cost of each garment, line by line
  • Taxes, card fees, commission and margin
  • Pattern, grading and pilot costs spread over the order
  • Type your own price and see the real margin
